Well, danged if I can find the original Facebook responses to my last Orb-Gasm Challenge, but I assume they were funny, pithy and very educational. It is well past time for another one! This month we honor the legion of hilarious 1980s sitcoms with a challenge that will require the utmost level of creativity and dedication– making your own sitcom!
Reference A: Pumpkin time at the Blingfist’s house. No, it’s not Halloween….. start from that premise. Your challenge is to craft your response for the following.
The Caption is the voice over that sets up the scene (top left, in orange). Chaz Sez: is the straight line, Mary Whispers: is a potential response, and Punkinhead thinks: is some sort of side-splitting aside, an example of the sort of writing that had 1980s television audiences convulsing in laughter. Remember, IT ISN’T HALLOWEEN. There’s your mise-en-scene, you run with it now, n’kay?
