My friend Otto Schmidt, one of the more gifted artisans and designers out there, wasn’t present at Historicon 2009, but his spirit was. I just NOW discovered that someone filmed his set up for a game called “Oh God, Anything But A Six!”, a simple and silly rule set for wargames in a fictional Seven Year’s War universe of his imagination. You know, where Princess Trixie of Saxe-Burlap has pink-coated grenadier guards by the legion.
The game is silly, the setup is clever, as this video from 2009 points out. Check this out.
