The Steam Powered Frankenstein

Deal me in!

Ron Wuerth turned me on to DC Comics plans for the reinvisioned FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER: What can I say, but: I’m all over this thang like stank on a pig!

I know Marvel is grittier, and Dark Horse more ballsy, but DC sure has been more innovative of late…

  1. Walt,

    Ron here…

It remains to be seen whether DC will pick this up and continue to use the character. I can only hope so, but the mini series and the ‘maxi series’ it’s a part of “Seven Soldiers of Victory” is written in such a way that DC could choose to totally ignore every bit of it in their current continuity.

I figure sales will be the key driver on this. I’m hoping that of all the ‘new’ soldiers The Frankenstein Monster gets picked up.

A little “Hell Boy’ish” in theme, but you gotta love a Frankenstein Monster that quotes Milton, while fighting off demons that feast on his dead flesh! 😉

I also have to like that he’s not the ‘slow stupid’ monster that Hollywood has provided us over the years.
